SoapLift Maple Leaf
$7.99
SoapLift® Maple Leaf — Red draining bar soap holder for kitchen and cottage sinks. USA-made corn bioplastic; looks seasonal, works all year.
Description
A red maple leaf for the kitchen sink — not just October
Kitchen bars die in the well of those little ceramic leaves and ceramic pumpkins. They are shaped to hold water. The SoapLift® Maple Leaf is the opposite: a Red leaf that is a draining bar soap holder, not a bowl. Water runs off, the bar dries, you extend bar soap life at the sink you use three times a day. Canadians buy it because it is a maple leaf. Everyone else buys it because it is a better soap dish than the one that came with the farmhouse sink.
Use it year-round. A soap saver pad should not be seasonal just because the silhouette is. Red reads as a small kitchen accent in July as easily as in November. Nest it in a stoneware dish or set it on the counter beside the tap as a self-draining soap dish. No metal to rust under the window. No finish to wear off from dish soap.
Why a leaf instead of the rectangle
- Kitchen-first shape — looks at home next to a cutting board, not like shower hardware
- Housewarming and host gifts — especially for anyone north of the border
- Cabin and cottage sinks — fall palette without a gimmick tray that pools
- Visible enough that people put the bar back on it
Material
USA-made corn-based bioplastic, REACH compliant. Flexible, trimmable, rinse-and-squeeze clean. An eco-friendly soap dish that still lets you have a little color at the sink. If you wanted a soap dish that drains and also does not look like a grey gadget, this is the one in the lineup that does both.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Maple Leaf only for fall décor?
No. It is a year-round bar soap holder. The leaf shape is why it photographs well in autumn, but the job is drainage every day at the kitchen or bathroom sink.
Will dish soap and grease film it up?
Kitchen sinks are greasier than showers. Rinse and squeeze more often. The open grid still beats a ceramic leaf that holds a puddle of greasy water against the bar.
Does it fit a standard kitchen soap dish?
Most of them. If the dish is a small oval, trim the bioplastic with scissors. You can also skip the dish and use the Maple Leaf as a standalone soap dish that drains.
Is Red the only color?
Yes for this shape. For Sage, Grey, or Blue neutrals, see Round, Rectangle, or Whale. Same USA-made self-draining design.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Hand rinse only. A dishwasher is unnecessary for a soap saver pad and the heat does not help. Tap water and a squeeze are enough.
