Rinse and squeeze; hair comes off an open grid faster than out of a solid tray. Trim if the dish is small. REACH compliant, no BPA, made in the USA. Is the Dog Bone only for pet soap?
No. It is a draining bar soap holder that works with any bar. People put it in mudrooms and dog-wash sinks because the shape fits the room. It will also sit in a regular bathroom if you like it.
Will dog hair clog it?
Hair hangs on everything. The open grid is easier to rinse than a closed plastic dish. Pull the hair, rinse, squeeze. That is the whole maintenance routine.
Does it work with oatmeal or tar dog-shampoo bars?
Those bars are often softer. A soap saver pad underneath is exactly what they need — standing water wrecks them. Rinse the Bone a bit more often; medicated soaps can leave a film.
Is Bone the only color?
Yes. The Dog Bone ships in Bone only. For Black or Tan animal shapes, see the Bear. For brighter colors, Duck or Whale.
Can I sit it on a stainless utility sink?
Yes. No metal on the saver itself, so it will not add rust. Use it as a standalone self-draining soap dish or drop it into whatever tray is already glued to the sink.
